Privacy Policy — effective July 15, 2026
The short version
Void Descent collects no personal data itself. The game has no analytics, no ads, and no accounts of its own. Everything the game saves — your runs, your records, your unlocks — stays on your device. The one exception: if you choose to sign in with Google Play Games for achievements, leaderboards, and cloud saves, Google Play Games Services processes your Play Games profile (player ID, display name, avatar) and stores your save data against your own Google account, as described in section 3. Signing in is optional; the game is fully playable without it. The dungeon keeps your secrets.
Void Descent is developed and published by Void Workspace (voidwork.space). This policy covers the Void Descent mobile game distributed through Google Play. It applies to every version of the game unless a future update ships with a revised policy.
We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information or usage data on our own servers — we operate none. Specifically, the game does not:
The only network communication the game performs is with Google Play Games Services, and only if you have chosen to sign in.
The game integrates with Google Play Games Services to offer achievements, leaderboards, and cloud saves. If you choose to sign in with your Google Play Games profile:
The game saves your progress locally on your device: run state, depth records, settings, and meta-progression unlocks. This data lives in the game's private storage on your device, and we have no means of accessing it. Uninstalling the game deletes the local copy. If you are signed in to Google Play Games, the same progress is additionally backed up to your Google account as described in section 3; otherwise it never leaves your device.
We collect no data from anyone, so we collect no data from children. There are no social features, no chat, no user-generated content, and no purchases requiring personal information. Google Play Games sign-in, where available, is subject to Google's own age requirements and family policies.
Apart from the optional Google Play Games Services integration described in section 3, the game contains no third-party code that processes personal data. Google Play itself may collect data related to your download and installation of the game (such as crash statistics or install metrics visible to developers in aggregate); that collection is governed by Google's privacy policy, not this one, and is outside our control.
If a future update ever adds features that involve further data collection, this policy will be updated before that version is released, the effective date above will change, and the change will be noted in the game's store listing. Until then: the void stays silent.
